NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE Norwegian Cruise Line's brand new 2,240-passenger Norwegian Dawn, based in New York from May through October, uses her great speed to offer seven-day roundtrip cruises calling on four ports in the Bahamas and Florida: Nassau, NCL's private island Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, Miami and Port Canaveral, Florida. Norwegian Dawn is the only ship sailing to the Bahamas and Florida from New York and the cruise industry's only ship offering Port Canaveral and Miami as ports of call. NCL will also offer passengers the opportunity to embark in Port Canaveral for a seven-day roundtrip cruise.
ROYAL CARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL Sovereign of the Seas at Port Canaveral offers three- and four-night cruises to Nassau and Coco Cay, RCI's private island. Port Canaveral's two-story, 75,000 square-foot Cruise Terminal 9/10 (CT 9/10) is the new home of the Sovereign of the Seas.
ROYAL OLYMPIA CRUISES OlympiaExplorer:This is the first cruise line to offer longer than 7-day cruises from Port Canaveral. This 25,000 ton ship accommodates up to 836 passengers on six passenger decks. A variety of cruise offerings include destinations such as Cozumel, Mexico; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Belize City, Belize; Puerto Limon, Costa Rica; and the Panama Canal.
